Our Story
Established in 1988, Knights has always been at the forefront of trends while retaining all the traditions of the old school barbershop.
We are Irelands leading source of traditional shaving products from our shops in Stephens Green Centre and Dundrum Town Centre. Our widest selection is in our shop in Stephens Green Shopping Centre, Dublin 2 which has recently been remodeled to extend the product range we stock and enable you to come in and take a look at them.
If you have the opportunity, call in to us and browse the products. Feel the weight and size of the razors, smell the creams and soaps, and test the colognes.
Our selection of products is widening all the time. New arrivals are fantastic new promades from Reuzel and Layrite and Daimon barber. Really great products that are indicative of the rising quality of products becoming available to men. Reuzel Hair Tonics have also proved a real hit with our customers in the barbershop.
We are the acknowledged experts for Hot Towel Shaves and have appeared in the media many times demonstrating our skills. We’ve been on RTE’s Nationwide, The Late Late Show, Off The Rails, Ireland AM, The Gerry Ryan Show many others. Even Ross O’Kelly Carroll gives us a mention in his books!
Our familiar Knight in shining armour has stood guard at the entrance to the shop since we first opened. We first spotted him in the movie Excalibur where he was working as an extra. He has been known to patrol Grafton Street from time to time and even made an appearance in the St. Patricks Day Parade a few years ago.
